  Unprofessional and Irresponsible! Do not take your dog here if you care about them! I had taken my dog to him twice before I had the below experience so beware of a nice facade and smiling face...they seem like a great place until you start asking questions! My mother recently got a puppy, so I took my dog in for boosters so they could be around each other. One of the vaccines I was asked to check on by her vet was the flu/influenza. When I talked to the doctor about this, he totally dismissed me and said there was no reason to be concerned. I pulled out my phone and showed him the American Veterinary Medical Association website and various articles that show that it is a concern (in FL!) and highly contagious and he literally laughed. HE LAUGHED!!!! Apparently, they don't do "unnecessary" vaccines...yet every other vet's office I've called since has started carrying this vaccine and when I discussed what happened with this vet, they were appalled. In addition to all the above...this was my dog's exam. He looked at his teeth, touched his stomach, moved some of his fur aside and looked at his skin and said he was good to go. They asked me to bring in a poop sample, which I was unable to do, and instead of doing the fecal exam then, gave me a tube so I could "drop it off later". I think it's great if they don't have to stick something in them, but I've never had a visit where they don't actually do any tests! Now, admittedly, I'm mostly ignorant about what a vet should or shouldn't do. But imagine going to your doctor, asking them about something you're concerned about and having them laugh at you. Wouldn't you be concerned about the doctor's ethics and education? I will be doing my research and telling everyone I know about this irresponsible behavior... please please please, don't take your dog here if you love them.

  Extremely disappointed. Refused to acknowledge a potentially serious health concern reported by newspapers and AVMA. On top of that, reactions to concerns were met with disrespect and mockery. Unprofessional to say the least. Concerns for my pet's well being are no joking matter, particularly when AVMA is issuing warning. Will never return.

  I have been going to Dr Rick for about 3 years now with my Labs. Very knowledgeable and caring. We trust him 100 % Will not break the bank like my last vet, and excellent care. Just today I noticed something on my female that concerened me. Didnt want to wait. Although only open till one today , they had me come right in just prior to closing. Problem solved ! Myself Onyx and Jade thank you and your excellent staff :)))

  Do Not Go to this idiot i went their last week for worm meds for my cat and he gave me the wrong ones my cat couldn't even walk when i called him back to tell him i was told to come in for a check up to which the bastard charged me for it and it was his error , then to top it off i asked to make another appointment he told me i dont work on possibility appointments like i wasnt gonna show.. and this is after i sent him like 10 people he and his wife are pig demons and im not done with this pig
